We’ve got some incredibly exciting news to share with you...
After spending the last 13 or so years growing Synergy Creative into one of the UK’s most respected and awarded employee experience agencies, we’re taking Synergy to the next level, and we couldn’t be happier.
We’re joining McCann Worldgroup, part of Interpublic Group, which is one of the four biggest marketing agency networks, operating in over 100 countries worldwide. McCann’s vision is to ‘help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives’ – so you can see why this resonates with us, an agency that helps organisations unleash the power of their people.
So why now? Well, we’re flattered to have been approached by several other businesses over the years, but it was clear from our first conversation that the McCann team really ‘get us’. But it goes further than that. As brands compete more and more on customer experience, there’s a much greater understanding that it’s the employee experience that enables it to thrive. People performance drives business performance – it’s something we’ve been banging the drum about for quite some time, and something McCann believes in too. We’re aligned in both being ideas-first, creative, strategic and entrepreneurial businesses, sharing some clients and importantly, similar values.
It’s great news for our clients. Joining McCann means we’re able to work together to offer our clients, and theirs, truly joined-up employee and customer experiences, helping build their knowledge around things like employer brand, culture and engagement, as well as key topics like D&I, wellbeing and continuous learning. We’ll also be able to springboard and scale using their network around the world to support our global clients even further. And it’s great news for our team here at Synergy, as we can tap into the amazing creative opportunities that a global agency network offers.
So what happens now? Well, it’s very much BAU. We’re still Synergy, albeit with a slight name change to ‘McCann Synergy’, and we’ll continue to deliver industry-leading employee engagement work for our clients from Bristol and London – with the added benefit of taking advantage of McCann’s offices in Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Leeds.
We’ll finish off by saying a big thank you to our amazing clients for putting your faith in us, the talented team at Synergy for delivering outstanding work, and everyone else that’s helped us create the agency we have today. It’s been a great ride so far, but the best is yet to come.
