Synergy’s bingo-ing wild… for charity!

We enjoyed a fantastic night out at the Bingo last week… all in the name of charity of course…

This year, Synergy Creative are organising a bingo night to raise funds for our sponsored charity of the year – Alive!, so we felt a little research was required before we embark on organising the main event.

The staff at Mecca bingo in Bristol immediately made us feel welcome and showed us to our table, which came complete with pink balloons, chocolate and some bubbly – what more could we ask for? There were quite a few novice players amongst us, so the staff patiently explained the rules and even sat with one of our designers through the first round, pointing out the numbers as they were called out so she could keep up…! (And yes, before you say it, they go quite fast..)

It was a fantastic night, great fun, great value and loads of laughs. We’re still trying to work out if our highlight was when one of our designers shouted ‘Bingo!’ at the top of his voice across the hall, before realising he didn’t actually have one at all (very embarassing), or when our account team won a grand total of £2.50!

Next stop: our own bingo night – Watch this space…

Thank you Mecca, a great night had by all.
