From strategy, to action, to impact, we unleash the power of your people to drive…
Every year at Synergy, we nominate and vote for a different charity to support with our creative services and fundraising activities.
This year we’ve been busy raising money for Julian Trust, a Bristol-based charity running an emergency night shelter for the 2000+ people living on the streets of Bristol. As well as providing washing facilities, health advice, clothing and two meals every day to over 100 people, their volunteers are trained in how to support the homeless community, to be a kind ear and how to deal with challenging situations.
After months of hard work and various activities, we raised a grand total of £7,812.87.
So, what did we get up to?
Starting on a sweet note, Pancake Day had its own entry fee this year! Thanks to Rhiannon, our bellies were full and we had £60 in the kitty.
Our finest Synerguys and Synergals braved soggy boots and blisters, as they battled the elements in the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. Taking it all in their stride, they raised a whopping £5535!
Emma even did a practice run!
Meanwhile, Gary was never one to miss a photo op…
Back on solid ground, our in-house wine expert Charlotte ran a wine tasting evening, raising £82.91.
For those who were still thirsty, competition was fierce at the annual Synergy pub quiz. Despite some ill-advised heckling of the winning team, we raised £326 pounds. Cheers!
And Jenni’s nail bar officially opened for business, raising £72 with lunchtime manicures.
We raised £696.21 in not one, but two bake sales!
Master baker Charlie even gave up his Saturday afternoon to raise £30.
All in all, another excellent year fundraising in Synergy style. Thanks to everyone who participated and, most importantly, donated. Your money is going to a brilliant cause.
If all this fundraising has inspired you, the page is still open for donations and every penny helps to get more people in Bristol away from the streets.
