Nick scoops IoIC Designer of the Year

Synergy’s own Nick McCarthy crowned Designer of the Year at the ICon Awards

He’s only gone a done it! Last night Synergy Creative’s own Nick McCarthy was crowned Best Designer at the Institute of Internal Communications, ICon Awards.

The ICon Awards celebrate the achievements of the ICons of internal communication, recognising “the people who consistently turn theory into great internal communication practice through their skills, knowledge, consistency and dedication. They stand out from the crowd and are an inspiration to others in the sector”.

Nick was on hand to pick up his award at the event as the best in the IC business came together at London’s Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel and comes on the back of first class design work across our client portfolio including ODEON, Vodafone, and Caterpillar.

Nick is known in the office, and by clients, as the creator of highly original concepts, visuals and top notch art direction. But the best bit? He does all this and more with an unwavering smile, an inherent modesty and an unflappable calmness. We couldn’t be happier to have him on the team! Well done to Nick, richly deserved and great to see his talent rewarded.
