Turning employees into brand ambassadors
The study undertaken by Altimeter Group found that of course all companies and marketing departments were keen to turn their employees into brand ambassadors but often there was not a strategy in place for engaging them in this way. A lack of coordination between HR and marketing didn’t help along with departments being busy enough working on their own projects.
The study looks at a few large companies doing this well and the tactics they’re using which they state include social media training, mapping the employee journey and measuring the effectiveness of employee engagement on social channels.
