Should we ban internal email?

A new article by the Guardian 17.12.12

This article highlights a radical rethink into internal email by Halton Housing Trust. According to independent research, employees spend 40% of their working week dealing with emails that are of no value to the business. Halton Housing Trust is looking into alternatives to email in 2013 and ‘helping staff to break their email addiction’. An interesting article that might just make others stop and think about the frequency of their internal email sending!
